Staying true to his cowboy roots, Country Singer, Rodeo Cowboy Armond Duck Chief has released the new single and title track ‘The One’, off of the highly anticipated second studio album.

Calgary, AB November 4, 2014 - Backed by his own signature Armond Duck Chief Music, singer-songwriter Armond Duck Chief returns with the newly released single ‘The One’ from his second album The One,set to be released in November, 2014.

Recorded out of Horizon Music, the love struck, two stepping single is the first release since the prominent debut album ‘Country Groove,in 2011.

The debut album has sold well over 1000 copies with sale requests still ongoing. Album reviewer K. Kanten, of the national publication Windspeaker, notes that “Armond clearly comes by his country roots honestly and delivers the sound that makes you wish you were in that old Chevy pickup truck, hauling hay with your sweetie seated beside you.”

Armond first demoed the single on social media and in response to the wave of support from his growing fan base he says “I feel that the single really speaks to the listener; it’s a real feel good song,”

Armond Duck Chief first came to life as a singer 14 years ago and began writing music 10 years ago to date. Armond credits Chris Ledoux and Justin McBride as two artists that have helped shape his own cowboy twang. Armond’s songs of life, love and the rodeo trail have provided stories that impact fans from small towns to big cities.

Every time he is on stage, Armond delivers a barnburner, high-energy performance. He has performed in both Canada and the U.S, and has played notorious venues such as the Calgary Stampede and Montana State Fair, but his most celebrated moment was the release of ‘Country Groove’ in Las Vegas, Nevada during the Indian National Finals Rodeo. Armond is not only a musician, his passion for the cowboy life has him competing in various rodeo events throughout North America as a steer wrestler or bulldogger, and chases that gold buckle dream whole-heartedly.
